Daring Girls

Daring Girls partners locally to ensure that girls have the knowledge, tools, mentorship, and support to confidently design their own futures.

Through two core mentoring programs, Kisa Project (ages 17-21) and Binti Shupavu (ages 12-18), Daring Girls supports girls who dare to do something different, who choose to prioritize their education and take control of their futures.

Elle Peut Naidim (EPN)

Elle Peut Naidim's mission is to tackle issues that hinder children from completing school. One of their programs, the Last Kilometer campaign, targets critical issues that are well known to impede or hinder children’s ability to finish school: early childhood marriage and pregnancy, violence against women and children, and menstrual health hygiene.

Girls Livelihood and Mentorship Initiative (GLAMI)

GLAMI mentors secondary school girls in Tanzania to complete their education, develop into confident leaders, and transform their own lives and their communities. GLAMI equips girls to overcome challenges and reach their full potential because educated girls create lasting positive change. The outcome is proactive, resilient, and socially-responsible girls who secure better jobs, raise healthier families, and increase the standing of women in society. They accomplish their mission through our two extracurricular mentoring programs: Kisa Project and Binti Shupavu.

GLAMI supports girls’ education in Africa to provide young women with the opportunity to transform their own lives and the futures of their communities. GLAMI achieves its mission through the Kisa Project and Binti Shupavu.

Nurturing Minds

Nurturing Minds's mission is to support quality education, life skills, and entrepreneurship to help vulnerable girls in Tanzania become leaders in their communities.

Pamoja Youth Initiative (PYI)

Pamoja Youth Initiative is dedicated to strengthening youth involvement and participation to realize and utilize their potential through youth capacity building towards the sustainable development of society.

PYI envisions a strong society whereby youth can use their full potential to contribute to the sustainable development of society.

SAWA Wanawake Tanzania

SAWA Wanawake works to support children’s success in education by empowering families, communities, schools and government to work collaboratively in creating supportive and inclusive learning environments to improving girls’ education.

SEGA Girls

SEGA Girls's mission is to develop and run a quality, secondary boarding school for girls which fosters the development of strong values, healthy self-esteem, and independent thinking skills among its students; with emphasis on leadership, social responsibility and environmental care.

Tanzania Youth with New Hope in Life Organization (TAYONEHO)

TAYONEHO's mission is to create an enabling environment for youth empowerment and enhancement of employment opportunities.

The Girls Foundation of Tanzania (TGFT)

The Girls Foundation of Tanzania works to provide educational support for bright girls and young women living in extreme poverty. The support includes tuition scholarships as well as learning opportunities outside the classroom.

Young Strong Mothers Foundation (YSMF)

Based in Mogorogoro Tanzania, Young Strong Mothers’ mission is to become a Home of Hope, Inspiration and Provider of Sustainable Solutions to willing vulnerable girls, teen mothers and their children. They also aim to promote a positive and supportive attitude towards young mothers and single young mothers and to help single and young mothers in their community rebuild their dreams.
