Tailored Partner Engagement and Network Growth: We strengthen the health and sustainability of girl-focused CDOs through a differentiated engagement model. By recognizing that our partners have distinct needs connected to their current stage of growth and scale, we tailor our approaches to provide the most effective and most requested benefits to CDOs of every size.
EVIDENCE GENERATION
Evidence Generation and Sector Leadership: Evidence creation is not just about data collection - it is about creating knowledge that drives change. We generate and share rigorous evidence surrounding girls’ agency through the Adolescent Girls Agency Survey. We seek to leverage insights generated through the Portal and new streams of research to inform girl-centered program design within and beyond our network
SYSTEMS-LEVEL advocacy
Systems-Level Advocacy and Movement Building: We amplify community voices in regional and global spaces where policy is shaped, and funding priorities are established. We are creating a powerful Pan-African movement where CDOs are not just service providers but policy influencers, where girls’ agency evidence drives funding decisions, and where problematic community-level systems can be challenged to make way for direct actions from girls making their agency felt.
